Week 8 Weight Loss Update and Starting the Arbonne 30 Day Detox

May 08, 2015 by Scott Arrieta in Weight Loss Updates, Journey

I'm feeling sick this week :(

Even though I'm feeling a bit under the weather, I was still able to do a reasonably good job sticking to my weight loss objectives and plan.

Cutting right to the chase, I was able to post a 2 pound loss for this week, which is my second consecutive week of 2 pound losses.

I'm now 363.8 pounds. This means I've now officially lost over 20 pounds!

Even though I'm excited about the losses these last couple of weeks, I've been looking for a more structured weight loss plan to help jump start my performance.

When I've tried to lose weight in the past, the weight seemed to come off a lot more willingly. Not sure if it's because I'm getting older, but I suspect that the reason my body is holding on to weight a little bit more this time around is because of something in my diet.

So, what I'm going to try moving forward is the Arbonne 30 day detox challenge. A long time friend of ours is an Arbonne consultant, and my wife has been using Arbonne cosmetics and skin care products for a while, but I just recently learned that they have a health and nutrition line as well.

While on the detox program, I'll be using some Arbonne products that are supposedly packed with a bunch of natural, good stuff and cutting basically everything out of my life that is even a little bit processed or "toxic". This includes things like soy, dairy, coffee, gluten, and processed sugars.

I'm beginning to see why they call it a challenge.

I'll be updating you guys a little bit later on to tell you how it's going!
