How to Overcome a Case of the Mondays

May 30, 2016 by Scott Arrieta in Reboot Tips

Have you ever had a case of the Mondays?

You know — that feeling where you're coming off the high of a weekend only to realize that you've got a whole five days before you can do it again?

Ever have a case of the Mondays that lasts for the whole week? A month? A year?

Many of us wander listlessly through life, living only for the weekends and trudging through in a state of depression until the next weekend adventure comes rolling around.

This isn't the way it should be.

Life is your adventure.

If your life is monotonous and predictable, you have the ability to change that.

Life is too short to spend 40+ hours a week doing something you don't love.

It's too precious to spend with people who you don't love or who don't inspire you.

It's too fragile to continue another day without making your health a priority.

Someone much smarter than I once said that the purpose of life is to discover your gift and the meaning of life is to give it away.

So get after it.

Push through the Mondays and take back your life.

Trust me. You'll be happier. And the world will thank you.
